Munich, April 2011 – aFunds advised by Wieland Capital GmbH & Co. KG have extended their investment portfolio through the acquisition of a majority stake in doorout Group, Fulda.
The doorout Group distributes a wide range of outdoor equipment through its websites www.doorout.com and www.xtend-adventure.com. A particular strength of the company lies in the design of its own hiking and family tents under the Xtend-Adventure brand. The company also operates a shop in Fulda.
Wieland Capital will support the founders of the doorout Group, Annette Hartung and Roland Brotzmann, in the continued internal and external growth of the business and has provided the company with additional equity.
