From Munich Airport

• By taxi: The ride takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost app. Euro 50.
• By rental car: Please follow the directions by car "Coming from the north"
• By public transport: Take the S-Bahn (urban railway) S8 (every 20 minutes) to the "Ostbahnhof". At the "Ostbahnhof" change to bus line 100 towards "Odeonsplatz" and exit at "Friedensengel". The ride will take about an hour.

From Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof München)

• By taxi: The ride takes 10 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
• By public transport: Exit the station heading south across Bayerstraße in direction of the tramway stops. Use tramway line 18 (every 10 minutes) towards "Effner Platz" and exit at "Friedensengel". The ride will take app. 30 minutes.

Directions by car

Coming from the north - Nürnberg A9, Munich Airport (Franz-Josef Strauss)
Follow the Autobahn A9 all the way to the end (in direction of the Marriot Hotel) and keep to the left in direction of "Mittlerer Ring-Ost". Follow the "Mittlerer Ring" for app. 2.5 km and take the exit "Tucherpark" - right after the exit "Seehaus". Turn right into "Ifflandstraße". Keep to the left and take the short tunnel after the first traffic lights. The street becomes a two-lane one way street ("Oettingenstraße"). Follow "Oettingenstraße", which becomes a four-lane street and take the very left lane. "Oettingenstraße" crosses "Prinzregentenstraße", where you have to turn left at the traffic light. Follow "Prinzregentenstraße" across the "Isar" and around the "Friedensengel" and then take the first left into "Möhlstraße", take the first right into "Siebertstraße" and then the first right into "Ismaninger Straße".

Coming from the north-west - Stuttgart A8
It is easiest to leave the Autobahn A8 before you reach the city and to turn onto the Autobahn A99 towards Munich Airport (the route through the city is quite complicated and time consuming). Follow the A99 until the "Autobahnkreuz München-Nord" and turn onto the Autobahn A9 towards Munich Downtown (München Zentrum). Now, please follow the directions above: "Coming from the north".

Coming from the west - Lindau A96
Please follow the Autobahn A96 all the way to the end. When you have reached the end, please don't turn right, but take an extended left turn north-eastwards onto the "Mittlerer Ring". Keep to the right and don't drive through the tunnel but turn right into "Leonard-Moll-Bogen". Follow the street into "Hansastraße" and then westwards until "Theresienwiese", where you turn right into "Hans-Fischer-Straße". Follow the street, crossing the "Bavariaring", into "Poccistraße", then turn left into "Lindwurmstraße" and follow "Lindwurmstrasse" until its termination at the "Sendlinger-Tor-Platz". Turn right onto the "Altstadt-Ring" and follow the street for about 3 km until you reach "Prinzregentenstraße". Turn right into "Prinzregentstraße". Now, please follow the directions above: "Coming from the north".

Coming from the south-west - Garmisch A95
At the end of the Autobahn A95, turn right and follow the "Mittlerer Ring" for app. 1.5 km. Take a long left turn into "Plinganserstraße". Follow "Plinganserstraße" towards the north, passing the "Harras". At the baroque church ("Sendlinger Kirche"), turn right into "Lindwurmstraße" and follow the street until its termination at "Sendlinger-Tor-Platz". Turn right onto the "Altstadt-Ring" and follow the street for about 3 km until you reach "Prinzregentenstraße". Turn right into "Prinzregentstraße" and please follow the directions above: "Coming from the north".

Coming from the south-east - Salzburg A8
At the end of the Autobahn A8, drive straight on in north-western direction and follow "Rosenheimer Straße" for about 4 km, driving through the railway underpass at the "Ostbahnhof" and while driving downhill, passing the City Hilton Hotel. At the "Gasteig" (large red brick opera-house) at your right, turn right into "Innere Wiener Straße") and follow it until it becomes "Ismaninger Straße".

Coming form the north-east - Passau A94
At the end of the Autobahn A94, keep driving straight on (don't turn left, uphill) following "Prinzregentenstraße" westwards for about 2.0 km, passing the "Prinzregententheater", and "Feinkost Käfer". Circa 100 meters after "Käfer", turn right into "Ismaninger Straße".
